Education:

Business economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam (1996), postgraduate accountancy at Erasmus University Rotterdam (1998), registered with the ‘Kon. NIVRA’ as ‘registeraccountant’ – the institute for chartered accountants in the Netherlands (1999).

Professional background:

During the period 1996/2006 employed at a Dutch accounting firm with an international SME focus serving a wide variety of clients on various types of assignments. Started in 1996 in a junior position and reaching a senior position before leaving early 2007. Started up an independent accountancy firm beginning 2007 and incorporated MPtC on 1st July 2009 together with two other entrepreneurial professionals.

Current position:

Partner in the accountancy practice of MPtC. We currently work for a number of international firms with offices (headquarters or subsidiaries) in the Netherlands as well as for local SME firms. We focus on giving best practice guidance for financial management and accounting, preparing statutory financial statements, pre-audit assignments and more in general our role as sparring partner of entrepreneurs and businesses.
